Asking in advance.......

What are some of the things a distributor would want?

1. Cast/Crew Releases
..........

Working on a project that a distributor hinted he might be interested in. I just need to get the ducks in a row in prep. I know he will have his own things, but could some one help me get the ball rolling on the more commonly asked for things?

Yep, that's the stuff I am looking for. Never had to do this for a project, someone else handled it. But, since I am the Lone Producer (hi-yo Canon, Away)......

Depends on who is distributing.

But you'll likely need (one, several, if not all) of these:

M&E, Music and Effects Track - for dubbing
Music Cue Sheet - with cues, song name, duration, publisher, artist
Trailer
Publicity Stills
Press Kit
One Sheet
Dialogue sheet, a word for word transcription of the film

There could be a lot more from prints to an inter-negative to an MPAA rating. But it depends on who you are dealing with.

Okay, getting pre-pro forms together and so far I have typed out/modified:

Location Release
Actor Release
Made inquiry on E&O and production insurance.
Press Kit is pending.

Formatting a shot list, scene list, storyboards. Also need to find music release/license. I hate legal-ese.

In addition to all the above I had PAL and NTSC based masters with subtitle tracks in both since durations differ due to 23.976 ->25. Same for M&E, etc. Basically double many of those.
