ASAP AG DVX 100B: How do I see/ turn on the audio levels on the LCD panel?

It's in that same menu. I think it's called "level meter". You have to set it to "on".

Thanks for your response. I got the levels to show on the LCD, but now I can't seem to get any sound from the XLR connected boundary mic. I'm using a single mic for both channels. Could someone lay out the settings step by step for me? I just got this camera yesterday and nothing seems to be going my way. thanks! Vanessa

Does the mic need phantom power? What XLR port do you have it plugged into?
Make sure the line/mic switch on the front of the camera is set to MIC for the appropriate channel, and set phantom power to the appropriate setting.
