Hey everybody, My name is Darrin.. Ive been lurking these forums for awhile and recently got back into filmmaking.
I did this interview with a local pittsburgh artist and i feel it came out pretty well with only a few noticeable flaws.
Since I plan on doing more of these type of interviews I would like to get some feedback from a creative and videography standpoint.

Any comment or critique would help. Thanks

the one noticable flaw is the sound. one thing i read is people can forgive a bad picture if it sounds good . i am guessing you used a shot gun mic mounted instead of close or down near subject. thats what kills this is i know you are outside. the ambiance over bears the vocals. it makes it hard for me to stay with . the visuals i dont have a problem with just the sound. the closer the better but this may have been better delivared insound the sudio. even if people were wood working n the background you would have had ambiance from the artists world than motorist making it home at 5
