Anyone using a Cine Arm?

I have a 16x9 arm that came with my Zylight kit, but it seems to be a re-branded Noga by looking at the information on the receipt. I have read elsewhere that Noga makes the most worthwhile arms, especially if you want to use them to lift heavy accessories like a monitor with battery. In my use, the arm has shown itself to be extremely sturdy and after you tighten the lever there's no budging it, strong enough for me to lift the whole camera with (but don't try this).

They are very well made out of machined alloy and lock nicely, they also come with a hot shoe adaptor that is also made out of alloy and are cheap as chips so I have several of them.

I just (tonight) took delivery of an 11 & 7 inch version form coollcd... they were cheap and after 2 minutes of playing with them, they seem pretty solid. Got the clamp as well which also seems strong. I'll know more after real world use.

I got the clamp for mine too and it is also machined from alloy and does the job.

I just got the 11" and 7" arms from http://www.led-video-lights.com with my z96 together and the super clamp,cheap,hope they are good!

Ultralight make arms originally for diving camera gear but they now also make parts aimed at camera mounts. From all accounts they are a lot more sturdier and can hold more weight than the noga arms.

The Ultralight looks interesting. Website leaves a bit to be desired. I wish they had pricing on the site.
The ultralight is quite different from the cine arm, the cine arm has one tightening lever or knob for 3 points of articulation.
The ulftralight has an adjusting knob at each of its joints, It is rust proof and very simple. Will last forever. But it is bulky
in comparison to the cine arm. It would not be a good idea to submerge the cine arm in salt water!

The arm segments all seem to be priced at around $50 regardless of length, $30 for the clamps and adapters are in the $22~25 range.
So to make a working arm you would need 2 segments, 2 adapters and 3 clamps, which would run about $235.
