ArtemisDV and Marval

Hi, i need some help from masters.

I can buy an Artemis DV - the old one, you can see it at http://www.dvt.com.au/products/sachtler/artemisdv.html

Also if it is an used item it cost about 500€
Some friends told me that it's not so special
others told me that stuff made from Sachtler,
are the best i can buy.
It's a question of little tollerances that you can notice while working.

I have seen on eBay some other cheeper items, as:

http://cgi.ebay.com/MARVAL-202-PLUS...ryZ11724QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Some friend told me that it can do the same service as old ArtemisDV,
and the difference of price is not proportional to the difference of quality.

Atleast for the kind of shooting i have to do.

Please is there here some expert that can give me an hint?

Thanks very much to everybody.

I recently purchased the Artemis Pro MD for my HVX-200 and I love it. It's light weight and the vest is, in my opinion, superb. I'm working on a documentary that this has come in very useful for. Yesterday, I shot for almost 2 hours with just a couple of breaks and I'm not in traction today. I highly recommend the Artemis, but not the monitor. The "Ikan" monitor that came with the unit didn't work right out of the box. The US distributor sent another unit (the whole Artemis unit, not just a monitor) to me overnight. The second monitor didn't work either. I'm currently having them make a version for me that takes RGB hook up, which is how I prefer to monitor my HVX. With my Marshal monitor, the HVX puts out an image that is EXACTLY what is going down on the P2. The Artemis is great . . . insist on a better monitor.

Best of luck in your search.
