I'm *nearing* completion of my promo video for my upcoming transmedia project, and I'm doing what I can around the web to build some promoting relationships. I've even managed to secure a write-up specifically for the promo. For the most part I've been navigating the indie comics scene, but I'm wondering if anyone here who has a project in the works or possibly something that's at the crowdfunding stage or maybe it's even about to be released -- I'm wondering if anyone here would like to have fan art for their project in exchange for some promotion. Could be via your fan page or blog. If you use your personal facebook page for your projects, that'd be fine as well. Basically I would do the image for you and then you could link my promo as it pertains to myself being the one who did the fan art.
I'm doing everything I can to get my different factions of friends, family, peers and previous fans motivated pre-release. I'm going to be running ads on facebook, youtube, et al. I've got a pretty popular indie artist who donated one of her songs to the promo. But obviously the more eyes the better.
Any genre piece would probably work best for cross-promoting. If you've done a romantic comedy or a straight drama, it might be oily waters.
I can do a few different things A) Cartoonish style pin up, B) Realistic comic style pin up or C) Photoshop manip. My photoshop skills are 'eh'.
I don't keep much art up online, but what little I have can be seen here:

(note that the PS manips fan art for the Uncanny Xmen series were created using some of the actors' facebook common pictures. I do better with staged photos, appropriate lighting, etc)

Depending on the situation, I could potentially go as far as making a movie poster or faux comic book cover-style poster for your project.
I have a lot of work I'm doing, so obviously I can only probably take on two or three projects right now.
