Arrisoft VS Chimera

What are the different light characteristics between an Arrisoft 1K (zip) AND an Arri 1K with a small Chimera. I guess the Chimera would have a larger surface area of light... but will the ZIP flood out? ... just thinking aloud... would the zip be softer in theory?

I usually use an Arri 650 through a small Chimera as my key source. It produces a softer light than the Zip and has much better "wrap". No contest for me. Zip lights are cool but I like the Chimera the best.

Same with the homemade 104 watt Kino Flo I am working on. It looks nice and it is soft but it still looks a lot harsher than my Chimeras do.

Portability is a also a key. A Chimera/Lamphead combo is a lot more portable than a zip light will be.
