Well, I believe with Arri you rent versus buy...but it certainly says alot about the old school film manufactures having to catch up

I know with Panavision you rent, not buy... but I believe you can buy the Arri cams... (They're on ebay even). I'm guessing this could be running around the same as the Vipercam? Any other guesses?

These cameras are a good start but it seems like they are a good couple years away from anything practical. The data rates are just to high. I would like to see a camera that could capture a 6K signal but the storage solutions that are out there right now don't cut it for me. Plus isn't the whole idea of digital suppose to be easier and cheaper.
