Arrilite 800w x3- Enough for Interior Shooting?

I just purchased, in a good deal, a set of 3 800w Arrilite lights with barndoors, gels, stands, etc. Is this enough for seting up a nice interior scene? Aren't the lights too powerfull and not that manageable in therms of exposure, spill and intensity?

Should I get a smaller separate light, like a 150w or a 300w?

I think you'd definitely have a more versatile kit if you added a smaller light, especially for use as a backlight/kicker/etc. Another thing to keep in mind is, you may not even be able to use all 3 of the Arrilites at the same time off of normal household outlets - 2400 watts puts you right at the limit of your typical 20A breakers, even if nothing else is plugged in.

You can definitely do stuff with what you have, though. Remember that intensity can also be controlled by moving the lights back if you have room.
