arri sr2 viewfinder

I'm using an arri sr2 4:3 ratio and was wondering which guideline in the viewfinder marks the actual frame?

I've already shot the project and am a bit paranoid now that I used the wrong guidelines. I used the smallest guideline.

If I can recall correctly, the viewfinder guidlines consisted of (from largest to smallest)

rectangular box

4 marked corners

then a smaller box with rounded edges.

I chose to use the smallest box because it's the one that most looked like 4:3

The small box with the rounded corners or the "pumpkin" is for 4X3 action safe.

What does action safe mean? Did I frame
Correctly or did I have some extra space outside of the box? Thanks

Sounds to me like you're good!

It depends entirely upon which ground glass was installed in the camera.

It sounds like you were using an SRII, shooting regular 16 with a regular 16 ground glass. You should be fine.
