Arrested Development is easily one of the best shows I have seen on t.v in years; I was only able to catch a handful of episodes during it's run but loved them. One of the best. I think the general public just doesn't 'get it' unfortunately.

All is not lost, friends... at least not quite yet. "Arrested Development" is not cancelled, just had its current season cut short by four eps. (Down to 18 from 22).
No question the latest in a series of bone-headed "creative" decisions the Fox execs have made in the last few years (the worst of which, IMHO, was cancelling"Firefly" after only 13 episodes, only 10 of which actually aired), but not as bad as an outright cancellation... though I'm sure they're keeping that in mind as an option.
For the time being, Fox has cut short this season of "AD" in order to make room in its schedule for the already much-maligned "American Dad" on Sunday nights, which sucks, of course, but 18 eps of "Arrested Development," with the hope of a new season later in the year is better than cancellation. Of course, whether this "non-cancellation" is public relations BS remains to be seen.
You have to wonder what they're thinking over at Fox... Pres. Gail Berman recently admitted the network devoted too much of this season's schedule to reality tv (most of which failed big-time in the ratings), and yet what do they do? Cut short a season of their critically-lauded, Emmy-winning show in the hopes of getting better ratings against "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."

Was that a joke about Lola?

You might be happy to know that last Summer they shot "Serenity" which should be out in a few months. They have two more scheduled after this one. I did all the video/computer playback on the movie. It looks like it might be kind of cool. It's hard to tell until you see the final product though.

Yeah, I'm very much looking forward to the release of "Serenity." (And I wish the release hadn't been pushed back to the end of September... it was originaly slated for April.)

Must've been fun to work on. If you haven't seen the series, check it out on DVD.
One of the great things about arrested development is it's the only sitcom i've seen that doesn't use laugh tracks. They let you decide if it's funny or not, and it's hilarious. I love Gob's segway.
I can't wait for Serenity so come out, either. The dvd's of the show are great.
