I happened to be flipping through the channels and came across this show on a PBS station's POV show.
IM-PRESS-IVE!!!!!!!!!!
A story about a Danish combat unit ISAF7 in-country in Afghanistan. Told from their POV and cameras embedded with the unit. Many instances of taking fire and firefights. No Hollywood here. This was real life over a number of months. Some very dramatic "scenes" of the aftermath of a firefight at the end of their tour.
I definitely was reminded of von Clausewitz' attributed phrase "fog of war".
Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to know about what combat is like, because this is it. 80% preparation, 19% excitement, 1% crap your pants terror. But always ready.
