Arm + Vest on Ebay

I recently purchased a flycam 5000 with the vest and arm to run my 7d on. It works great if you ask me, and is fairly easy to balance once you get the hang of it. I have the camera with a battery grip attached, and on a set of rails for my follow focus, and it balances like a charm. I'll tell you this: So long as a steadycam system of any brand does what it's supposed to (balance the camera upright), then there really isn't a difference between brands and models other than looks and price.

The vest that comes with the flycam has a great spring, which takes ALL the weight off your wrist with ease, and isolates vertical movement very well. I've stopped using my shoulder rig and switched over to the vest since getting it in the mail. (And it came in about four days, which is damn fast from India).

But talk won't do all, here are a few videos I've shot using it. (Feel free to play it embedded in HD, I have a plus account)

I own one, for 1200 its good, but nothing beats the real thing. Reason I got mine was because it could handle 15 pounds and most low cost ones can't carry that kinda weight.

I've got one of the older "magic arm" models that I have used for about three years. It works well with heavier cameras, but is a bit stiff for use with our little GH13's, even when I hang a bunch of accessories. I wish now I had spent a little more for the Indicator model - It never occurred to me that anything like the DSLR rev could happen so quickly.
