Are Wacom Tablets compatible within Vegas ?

Are wacom and such other tablets compatible with Vegas. They say it will work for any windows based Software. Anyone here using them. I figured they might be handy to do precise bezier masking etc right ?
 
After buying my first Wacom tablet (8 or 9 years ago) I haven't seen my mouse. Precision and far more comfortable. Do it. Vegas is a breeze with the pen and tablet.
 
OK Pals. Then im getting one. Wat size do you guys use. Theres one which is 4"x3" and 6"x8" and lastly about 12"x8". Which is better and most practical. Also does it work when bezier masking ? Does it take a long time getting used to ?
 
Sherlock, I have a Intuos3 6x8 on order. Are you saying you use the pen in place of your mouse, or do you use the Wacom tablet mouse in place of your original mouse? For me, it would be an added plus if I can use the pen in place of my mouse. If this is in fact doable, how do you perform common mouse functions: left and right click, scroll wheel?
