Are there any non-tape, non FAT32 recording cards/devices for Multicam editing?

FCP multi-cam feature is really useful but only with material recorded on tape. Bought three Firestores couple years ago based on salesperson's recommendations for our uses, then found out that FAT32 format kills usefulness of Firestore for long event multi-cam editing because the clips get broken up and have to be resynched. It takes less time to capture tapes and sync once an hour than to transfer from Firestore and resync every clip.

P2 is FAT32. Are there any card-recording cameras or other tapeless systems that can record long events and be captured as long clips, as can material from tape? Thanks.

Yes Firestore is a POS. That said, P2 clips and most other card based cameras automatically span and reconnect themselves on ingest into FCP. There's nothing extra to individually resync if you ingest everything you shot at the same time. This is a non-issue...
