hey all!
my country won an oscar for best foreign language film ("Tsotsi") at the oscars! yeah! was cool for me, because i was lucky enough to sit in on some of their final mixing sessions... im happy they won.
it leads me to a question - does anyone know of any good studios/companys/institutions that offer apprentice/intern/scholarship type programs to students?
I am very keen to come over to the states and learn, hopefully in order to bring that knowledge back to south africa, but am not sure who to approach with this idea?
anyone have any ideas or any contacts that could possibly offer an opportunity like this? i do of course understand that naturally most of these opportunities should go to americans, but i need to ask because its something im passionate about, and you guys are the best in the world!
cheers,
tim
