Are there any filters I can do to try and get these two voices to match?

I did an interview with a guy over two days. The second day he regrettably had been talking all day and his voice was shot. I want to use brief snippets of it. But as you will hear, his voice sounds pretty different. Are there any filters, programs, or other post-production advice that might get the voice from the two days to sound somewhat similar or am I just out of luck?thanks! This is the raspy voice: https://soundcloud.com/noamo-2/raspyThis is the clean voice: https://soundcloud.com/noamo-2/normal-sound-from-a-mic-with-a-low-level

The truth is "probably not". But there are things called "matching EQ", the problem is I don't know who makes one now. Elemental used to make one and then they sold everything to Roger Nichols who did some minor interface improvements, got into a fight with his partners, went out of buisness, and died. I'm still using those but I have periodically looked for a replacement with little luck.

I've used it successfully for matching dialog and ADR and the same actor on different days or mics. But it can only match the spectrum balance so, for instance, it does well on matching mics or different mic placement. But if the quality is different as your case it's fairly useless.

You might try Rx to "decrackle" the raspy voice and then use a matching EQ.

There is no easy one size fits all fix. Kind of like you cast Joe Cocker but want him to sound like Mel Torme... ADR time.
