Are song names copywritten?

There is the name of a song I won't say but I want to use it as the title of my film or possibly for a small company in the future. For example, let's say the song is 'Enter Sandman' by Metallica, would it be illegal for me to use this song name as the title of a film? Please advise.

It won't have any affect on you man, name your movie whatever you want.

If you want to USE the song in your film, that's a different story.

However, the legal resource above may say you have some latitude with titles, but you certainly cannot base your movie (or other project) on the content of the piece. That is definitely copyrighted.
