Are dual AF/M lenses ok to use with an M2 adapter?

Hi,

I just bought an M2 SD adapter for my 100B and can only afford two lenses at present for a doc I'm shooting in August. It was suggested that I purchase a Nikon 50mm f/1.4 and a 20mm f/2.8. I recently found used lenses which appear to be in excellent condition, but they operate as both manual focus and automatic. Does that make a difference when using them with the adapter? Most of the doc footage will be one-on-one interviews, with a few hand held shots during a neighborhood walk thru.

I've heard that the AF lenses have a much more sensitive focus ring, which will make it harder for you to rack focus and such.

I'm interested in seeing what other people have to say about it though.
