Are all scrim types useful

I am fixin' to get a couple Arri fresnels (650 & 300) and there are four types of scrims you can get for each one:

single
double
half-single
half-double

I was curious if people find all of these types useful. If they are I have no problem ordering complete sets for the 300 & 650, but if some would never get used it would be nice to streamline the amount of stuff I will tote around.

I've never really used the half-scrims as much. If I need to cut half the light I'll use a net instead. I use the full scrims a lot - I try to have at least 2 singles and a double.

halfs are nice for getting dark contrast around the cheek of your Key. Thats the only time I really use them.

no. If you want to cut the light in half, Just drop a double in.

If you have a double and a single to play with, you have the option of cutting the light by .5, 1 or 1.5 stops.
