Are 4k laptop Monitors worth it?

[vladwolodarsky]

I edit video and stills and I need to upgrade my laptop. Sometimes I edit 4k video, but at this time it's mainly 1080 footage. Do you think 4k laptop monitors make a difference when editing 4k footage?

I like mine. I think it was worth it. It's a 17.3" monitor.

the only downside I had to complaint for my 4k monitor is every 1080p video i watch @fullscreen also looks soft ;(
other than that, editing video or photo on 4k is just a plus

To enjoy 4K image details, mointor should be atleast 28" or else not much difference.
