Archiving Projects

I'm relatively new to editing, and would like to hear from others about how they archive old projects to open up disk space for editing new projects. Also, how do you organize old projects so that you can easily access them later?

I have a 250G internal hard drive for video (separate from the C: drive), and it's already about half full from my first project. That project is only 30 minutes long, but I guess I downloaded a lot of extra footage. Now I'm ready to start my second project, but I need to make some room on the drive first. How do I archive the first project so that I can have access to it later for re-editing? I currently use Premier Pro 1.0, but I am getting ready to install version 1.5. I have also ordered a 250G external drive.

Re: Archiving Projects

Insofar you know, for videoediting, you must have 2 HDDs:
*system&archive
*work

It's solves some system & hardware problems.

when you archiving your projects, you must archive project file and temporary files of titles ONLY. It occupy little places.
After you'll unarchive this files in current folder of Premiere projects.
