I've got all these long projects that I'm done with, and I want them off the computer. I talked with Sony, and they said I should save the projects on DVD as a data disk. Save the project out of Vegas and it will be the whole thing, with all the raw clips and the other media I used. Save the project out of DVDArch and it will just be the edited, finished project, they said.
I tried to save a project out of Vegas, but Roxio said it was too big for the DVD. Why can't I put it on 2 disks?
Is a data disk the best way to go with saving video projects?
I just want to understand it before I delete anything!
If I save the .dar file out of DVDArch, is it the entire finished project? Menus, audio, video? Is it easy to make copies off that archived DVD data disk?
Thanks!
