AR Glasses - has anyone used them to monitor camera?

I always found the latency when monitoring a GoPro from the phone app to be pretty high, but that was a couple generations back, perhaps it has gotten tighter. I'd be surprised if it was approaching a truly usable level for this sort of application though.

Abe, forgive me if I don't fully understand your use case scenario('s)....so maybe I've missed something important in this thread...
But the simplest thing - if you are filming inanimate objects, would be to start at the farthest distance and then walk toward's the subject. And simply have the shot reversed in post. Works for me all the time for gimbal shots inside real estate type videos.

The main use case I'm trying to address is filming a presenter showing us around an art gallery, so unfortunately reversing the shot is out of the question. I also shoot art in the galleries without a presenter, but often there are bystanders in the background and reversing the shot also wouldn't work. I can reverse the shot if I'm filming art in an empty gallery, and I often do that. But even then, I often shoot long shots meant to be speed ramped in post where I might move forward from one wall, turn, and back into another wall, in which case I'll be backing up into something either way

The walk and talks I'm trying to do this for generally move slowly enough that it might be ok. I monitor camera from a wifi app on my phone for these shoots, and the latency is acceptable. Dunno about a gopro. I agree that if I'm moving at speed, the latency may well be a deal breaker.
