Hello all!
I was looking for a 2nd Field Monitor, for focus pulling and reference. The great Sunhood of the Aputure VS-5X monitor, sold me on this one, as the focus pulling would have been possible even on sunny days.
Anyway, I have used the other Aputure models - The VS-1 and VS-2, and these worked alright. Of course not at the "small hd" level, but alright.
And now that I got the VS-5X monitor, there is a very odd issue.
The colors are horrible. There is color banding - similar to looking at a 256 colored GIF file, or a video game from the 90s. Its like visible stripes of color. I returned it, but support says it is normal.
How can color banding be normal? The VS-1 and VS-2 models do not have this issue.
So is there anyone here that has the VS-5X and may confirm the issue?
Thanks
