Hey dvxusers!
A couple months ago I decided to bite the bullet and buy three tiny little LED lights - the Aputure Amaran AL-M9s. I wanted them for my gig bag as backup lights if I'm ever in a situation where I need extra light on something, but didn't bring enough fixtures from my normal stash. In addition to the lights themselves, I got some tiny clamps made by SmallRig and some Noga Arms so that I could mount them onto anything....
I LOVE THESE THINGS
I'm blown away by how useful they are and how often I find myself reaching for them in my bag.
I just shot a commercial down in San Diego where I just rested them on the floor to provide some up-lighting on a standing advert in the background. So cool. And because they have a self contained battery inside them, there are no cables to run.
Anyway, I know I sound like I'm a salesman for Aputure, but I'm actually not affiliated with them. I was so impressed with these lights however, that Trevor and I have decided to give away a couple kits to spread some holiday cheer!
Here's the link if you'd like to get in on the action!
