Regarding the Aperture Amaran 672 lights, I spoke to the product manager at PhotoPlus Expo in NYC and they showed their own defuser which is offset from the light as well as a prototype 50° grid. He also mentioned they should have their own softbox as well. All this by the end of the year I believe.
