APTS: FCP X, 2nd Edition Announced

[bbalser]

The official training text book for Apple authorized training is being updated to reflect version 10.0.7 of FCP X. This is for the "Intro", or as Apple calls it the "Level 1" course. The publish date at this time is February 20, 2013. Bear in mind these dates sometimes change. Here's a link to the Peachpit web page about the 2nd edition book. It is unknown if the eBook versions will be updated via the iBook store. Other books have been updated this way in the past, but neither Apple nor Peachpit is saying anything about this specific book at this time.

I've bought the first edition a few days and installed FCPX yesterday in my mac. How much the 10.0.7 is different to 10.0?

Very different, but the version you're running is FCPX 10.0.7.

I don't know what you're trying to say BenB. Are there no such things as Second Editions of authorized training editions?

This is about the 2nd edition of the APTS book. But I don't think an eBook version of the 1st edition will update itself to the 2nd edition. You will probably have to purchase a whole new eBook, as far as I can tell.
