Applying a Filter to Every Clip?

I want to apply the wide screen filter to all the clips in my time line,
I know I can select all the clips and drag the filter on to it but the default is not 2.35:1 like I want it.

Any answers?

From the Effects tab open the Filter in the viewer (by double-clicking) set the aspect ratio to your desired setting and drag it from the viewer to the timeline (where all the clips have been selected).

I like nesting the sequence first and then putting on a filter like that.

Another option: apply the filter to a single clip, set it how you want it. Then, right click on the clip in the timeline and select "Copy" (or use Command + C), select all the other clips you want to apply the filter to, right on the selection and select "Past Attributes" and in the popup menu select "Filters".

You can use this to copy over numerous filters and other attributes (motion, audio levels, etc.).
