apply effect to all????

I am trying to added effects to all the tracks at once?????? I tried selecting all and dropping my effect in but it just applies it to 1 item at a time?
How would I do this without going 1 at a time?

got it! I did a select all from the tool bar at very top and pasted the effect from there too. No drag and drop 10 million times!!!

Yep, but don't ask what happens if you have to remove all those effects...

Better way... Make new sequence... drop sequence you want filters applied into new sequence. Apply filter to single nested sequence.

Removal is easy too.

The sequence part I don't understand????
I hate huge commitments like this. Is there a way to work like in Photoshop with adjustment layers?

Okay.. Let me try this again...

Sequence A has let's say 30 clips with transitions etc.. Now.... Create a new sequence: File New>sequence (CTRL+N) name it Sequence B

Now you will have a tab for sequence A and Sequence B in the timeline. Go to sequence B... Drag sequence A from the bin into the timeline of sequence B.
It'll import the 30 clips as one file. Now add a filter to that file.
Tada... one filter on all 30 clips as a sequence.
You can always go back and edit the timeline in sequence A and they will update the single file in sequence B.

you can save the effect as a preset and select all your clips and drag and drop the preset onto it.
