Has anyone done this before? Is it worth it?

It seems the trick is getting tons of people to watch...I wonder if DVXUser could be used to drive traffic to entries.

I've never heard of it, but hey I'll give it a try.

Just saw this

"Select your team

Find four friends to create a team of five people. All five team members must be students currently attending high school (grades 9-12) or an accredited college or university."

Would have been pretty cool contest

[Drew Ott]

It's not really that cool. Since getting into the final round is completely a popularity contest, it's no fun for people who want to make a film and not have to spend their next month promoting it.

oh my god.
Last year my team tried this. And we failed since we didnt plan ahead. Make sure you get EVERYONE you need and EVERYTHING you need before the shooting date! Or else!!

We are entering this year more prepared for it this time. A toast to good competition!
