Ok I have had it and I need your help... Please
Like everyone else I do want to use as much as possible the disc's space
and most of the time I go over or below the disc size, so I have to encode twice or more to get it right.
So I wonder is there a Aplication? (Video/Audio Bit Rate Calculator) that does a better Job then Apple's ?
Please enlighten me...

You're welcome guys.

One thing to mention...
When you use compressed audio (AC3 or MP2 192kb/s for example), then you get calculated max. video bitrate too high for older DVD players.
Usually <8000kb/s video is most compatible. Instead standard Bitrate Limit 9800kb/s put your custom bitrate.
Type Bitrate Limit Custom 8450kb/s (when audio is 192kb/s)...then you got maximum calculated value for video always 8000kb/s no matter what is video length.

Bruce Nazarian (a member of the DVD Assciation'shttp://www.dvda.org/ National Board of Directors) at recipe4dvd.com has about the best universal bit rate calculator. Not sure what you mean by Apple's, as they don't make a bit rate calculator. Unless you're looking at the Estimated File Size, which is very acurate.

Apple Pro Training Series, Compressor Quick-Reference Guide

Brand new, only 20 some odd bucks (depending on who you buy it from), makes Compressor a snap to use. Very easy and fast book. You'll love it...

And Bruce's book is totally awesome, also.
