Hi All
I have been an Apple Color user for a bit, but after upgrading to the latest version I wanted to see if anyone else is having (or has had) the same problems and what (if any) resolutions you may have found.
1) when I add clips to the render queue and then render - Color becomes unresponsive and freezes. This happens on random clips. I can render them one at at time, but on a 10 minute sequence with lots of clips, this will be really time consuming. (especially with 6 of these sequences to do - due by this weekend)
2) I found a little work around to the above by completing my grades, exporting the XML and then importing that XML file into FCP - BUT the grades look completely different in FCP - most are lighter but some have color tints that are off and some do not seem to have the grades at all. Really frustrating.
I am trying to render to an external 7200rpm drive hooked to my mac pro tower via esata. The Mac Pro has 2 qty 2.6ghz Xeons and 2GB Ram. Have done this to USB attached drives with no problem, so I am confused why a higher bandwidth esata drive would be the culprit.
Any suggestions would be really appreciated.
