Hi all,
This is always my go to forum for audio advice from pros. I am doing some consulting for my church audio workflow. They recently acquired a SoundCraft EFX 8 mixing board. This seems like a pretty solid unit.
They are using Sennheiser EW technology for their wireless transmissions.
The situation is this: for the next 45 days or so, while the church is being refurbished inside, the services are being held in the schools cafeteria. The mixer board is up front with the music ministry. The fellow that is live-streaming
the services, via boxcast.com service and Canon Vixia GH4 camera, would like to control the pastors mic level remotely, since he cannot be at the mixer board, as his position with camera is in the back of the room. We are slowly working through this workflow a bit at a time.
I am wondering if there is an app for SoundCraft, that can remotely control the level for the pastors lavalier which is on one of the mixer board channels. The camera person is receiving a monitor mix from the board through the aux 1 out jack with a
modified 1/4 to xlr plug and cable to the sennheiser Tx.
