Using my DVX100a, I shoot my footage using squeeze mode. These are my project settings: NTSC DV 24p Widescreen (720x480, 23.976 fps). When I want to render to a quicktime file (using quick time 6) the only way I can get the aspect ratio correct is when I render as an HD file (1280x720). And the only way I can render to a WMV file correctly is when I render to an HD file or a DVD file (640x480). Isnt there other ways to get the correct aspect ratio? I see other peoples quicktime files and when I open those files they are in a rentangular shape, but their not an hd file. How can i do that? And isnt there other ways of getting the corrrect aspect ratio when rendering to a WMV file other then those options I put above?
