Anyone with ideas about dust maintenance?

I seem to have an abundance of dust in my work area. Anyone with any ideas about a dust zapper....er... some cool tools to help? It's a bit worrisome..... sorry...I just didn't know WHERE to post a question like this.

not sure man. i vacuum a lot. just don't vaccuum inside your machine. i thot it was a wonderful way to get rid of dust that got caught inside my machine until something about the suction and the electronic charge it creates fuct my computer. the geeks at the store all laughed at me when i told them the story and asked me why i thought compressed air is always sold at computer stores (because it's a scam? *more laughter*)...it negatively affected my self esteem. but i still vacuum the room, just not the interior of my case..mc

I've got an air filter unit sitting on the floor next to me...seemed to help initially... but I'm afraid of what it might be pumping back out.... I use a lot of air....but...it's really a Sisyphusic (sp?) endeavour aint it?

You have to replace the filters or air filters just collect a huge dust mite colony and you are basically just pumping out dust mite poop and mold spores.

.....AWESOME!.... yeah...I know about the filter.....but the dust seems to be of a finer consistency these days... maybe I'll just stick with this....and be more vigilant about the filters.
