Hi!
I'm on a very tight budget to shoot a project. I have a surplus metal supply near me with pretty good prices on aluminum by the LB.
Rather than reinventing the well, I'd like to go with a proven design. I'm probably going for 8'. Like the KC-8.
Could someone help me out with some info:
What is the dimensions of the maiun aluminum extrusion? I've guestimated .5" x 1.5" Also the thickness
What is the width of the crane? Again my guess is 10"?
The bar that attaches the extrusions together. What dimensions and is it threaded?
And finally for now, What is the dimensions of the top plate that rests on the tripod head?
Much appreciate the help. Want to go pick up some metal and get started. Just didn't want to waste money getting extrusion not thick enough.
