Anyone using the Zacuto battery system?

Was thinking about getting this and am wondering what kind of experiences folks have had. Battery life, weight etc.
 
You know what I want to buy two of there Zacuto Universal Camera Support Systems. I live in Canada so I emailed them to see about making a purchase. I have yet to receive any email back from them. Its been almost one week now.
 
I emailed Zacuto about a number of parts I was interested in buying, initially it took them a while to reply, but they were very apologetic and said that things were crazy at their end. If you don't receive a reply, try re-sending the email to both Steve and Patrick.

After a few back and forth emails, I ordered some items and they shipped it out that day international FedEx and gave me a 5% discount. I was very impressed with that. I should be receiving the package in a day or so.
 
They ship. Steve can be bad abount returning phone calls because they are flooded, but when the stuff arrives you can see why they are flooded: it's absolutely rock solid, very well engineered.

For what it's worth... I've been dealing with Steve Weiss at Zacuto over the last couple of weeks and he's been incredibly responsive and helpful.
 
I have the Zacuto support system and double mount that holds my Marshall on a Noga arm, and it is just rock solid. Their products are incredibly well built, and Steve has been great about getting back to me via phone. I have been to their facility, and trust me, they are swamped beyond belief.
