I think I have settled on a Vinten 5as setup with the CF legs and mid spreader. Now if I could just get my local dealer to give me a damn quote. I'd like to try the 3as and the 5as with a few different setups. I may try and "undergun" the 5as and see how it operates.

So thats 5bs, only 4 away from max capacity of the 3as. I can get there with a bigger zoom lens or a follow focus, which makes me think I need the 5as.
My concern is how the 5as handles underweight loads. Maybe I could get a rod and plate setup from zacuto or whoever, but I cant find the weight of those on any of their sites.
I also operate an hpx370 pretty regularly and would prefer to use my own head on it. The package's sticks and head dont really work for me.
