instead of hosting? :D I am curious to know if you can use these effectively to film yourself driving in a car by affixing it to the opposite interior car window.

*maybe I oughta look for a product review on here before posting, just a thought*

I bought one, but have yet to use it on a car in a production. My tests all looked great (Got up to about 40mph). I actually just used my Stickypod as a steadicam (with a weight on it, demo on their site) It actually worked pretty well.

Someone posted a clip they shot with theirs mounted on a Volkswagon about a month ago. I can't remember who, though. VERY SMOOTH footage. It looked great.

AAGH! I was in hibernation a month ago. Was in the dvx clips section or the hardware?

oh, was it inside or outside the car?

I think (??) it was dvx clips section and it appeared to be mounted outside the drivers side of the car watching the cars behind. If your dash is large enough, I'd think it would work well.

I feel bad that I didn't post it, but I bought a StickyPod and tested it ....catch is...I tested it with my JVC (well....wouldn't you?). Haven't gotten the courage yet to put my DVX on, but I'm working up to it. Anyway, the test with the JVC was outstanding! This little system is awesome! I think what makes me nervous is bug splats. Ok...so I have extra UV filters but it's just kinda scary to put your DVX in that sort of elemental situaton. I totally trust the StickyPod to hold the camera it's just the trees....other cars....road signs.......and those bugs that I worry about. Once I get a few more dings in the DVX...then, no problem.

BTW....I'v damaged so much expensive camera equipment in my life time that I didn't have to pay for.....the "Indie" thing means if I break it...I replace it. Know what I mean?
