Anyone using a NAS as a video server to show client video files than Vimeo/Dropbox?

Hello all,

I often filmed art performance and conference, and often they are about 30mins to an hour long each, and its very time consuming to export a long video, then upload the massive file online to vimeo and dropbox to show it to client for proofing, then back to editing, export and upload again, the cycle keep on going till everyone is happy.

I was just wondering if anyone is using a NAS like "Synology DiskStation DS115j" which has a feature called "Video Station" and allows you to share a video file using a weblink to your NAS? By skipping dropbox and vimeo and having the file on a NAS which uses less electricity will probably save some money in the long run.
