It will work just fine with CS4. I used to use a 9400GT with CS4. CS5 should work OK with that card but you may not get any hardware acceleration from the Mercury Playback Engine.

if you have 1GB of video RAM or more you MAY get cuda/mercury to work

definately need a minimum of 1GB DDR3 or DDR5 video card, 512 just isn't enough.

sigh, i'm saving up for a Nvidia GTX 460 @ 1GB DDR5
heard lots of good things about it.
