Anyone used the MXL MXLV63M?

has anyone had experience with the MXL MXLV63M. Reading the reviews on musiciansfriend makes me want to give it a shot. I'd plan to get two of them. My applications for this mic would be voice-over recording, live concert room micing, and probably some instrument recording. What do you guys think?

Hard to beat for the price, you wont hate them but there are better mics , but of course they cost more.

they are all chinese rip off of neumann wanna-be's. wont get substantial improvement till you go into rode nt2 or something of that range

I've got an MXL condensor from Musician's Friend. I don't even remember the model number but I only paid 49 bucks for it and it's already paid for itself many times over. It it gets stepped on I'll get another one.

Brickhouse can you send me any examples of work you have done with the mxl? I've been using me64s from my school (didn't really like them...). I just graduated and I need a basic kit of my own.
