Anyone use ziplights?

Hey all,

So I've been looking to get another softlight and I've been seeing a lot of great deals on mole zip lights. Anyone have any experience with these? how do they compare with an arri/chimera combo? would a 650w zip equal a 650w arri with a chimera? Are they a pain in the ass in the field or easy?
 
I have used 2k zips often enough. I use them a lot for product shots actually - hanging above a seamless shining down. Use them for greenscreen work as well. They work as a nice fill too. Good, overall soft light. Compared to an arri/chimera, its tough to say - I'd have to put them side by side, but I'd say fairly close to one another. Not a pain in the ass in the field at all. In fact, for such a bounced source, they are fairly compact.

I actually have 2, 650 Mole-richardson softlites for sale if you're interested. Hate to sound like this was all a sales pitch, I actually do love softlites/zips, just trying to clear out some room around here.
 
I actually like the ziplight quite a bit. They put out a nice quality of soft light and as Noah mentioned are decently compact. I've only ever used them in a studio environment. That said a redhead and chimera combo is still going to be much lighter and compact if you're moving around a lot on location.
