Anyone use Varizoom VZDVRIGPRO?

I'm about to buy a DVX and I was wondering if anybody has used this stabilization system. Seems like it might be quite an asset when doing a lot of handheld work. Thanks :thumbsup:

i own it, its not a stabilization system, its a support system which just so happens to have a few stabilizing qualitys

Fair enough but how do you like it? Is it worth getting? I think it'll set my handheld stuff apart...at least that's how I'm justifying it. :laugh:

I like it a lot.
It gets rid of unwanted small-camera jittiness.

It gives it the mass of a larger digi beta over the shoulder camera.
I'm going to put up some test footage from a shoot I did yesterday tonight hopefully.

I have one, and I like it a lot. Much more stable than handheld. It's not a steadicam, but you can "wear" it much longer.
