Anyone use ULTRA?

[Evan S]

Just curious if anyone has heard of ULTRA before

Can it really do what it says? It seem a bit to good to be true.

I wished they had higher quality samples

Looks great...

Do they actually perform a horrible lighting job anywhere in that video? It all looks pretty well lit to me.

Seems that if they're going to boast about impossible keying jobs that it CAN do, they'd show it. Still watchin', though.

Edit here: Yeah, it does look great. I don't see information on it being available for Mac platform.

If it is, I'll buy it now.

There is some in there, but they still look evenly lit. If we had a high-quality sample it'd be easier to tell. Some of the product's features seem pretty redundant. It's a neat idea though.

EDIT: duh there is a high quality clip. Didn't notice it (downloading) I wonder if it's any better.

I believe that Serious Magic offers a limited duration trial of their software. That would be better than judging the programs capabilities based upon any test footage.

Keying in Shake is already pretty easy... but I guess if there's something that'll make it even easier.

[Evan S]

Don't you need a mac to use shake? I'm a poor PC user.

[Kholi]

I work on a G5... Shake's not available for Windows-Based systems, sadly; great program.

You should demo this product. Serious Magic is a good company. There are Mac users wishing they'd make DVrack for Mac's. Have they yet?

My room is painted blue. perhaps I should key it out
