I wonder if these are just prototypes that have yet to make it to production... 4 years later!
Quite frankly, they look like Monolight strobes used in still photography that have been modified to house an MSR lamp.
The 'ballasts' next to the 'alleged HMIs' look huge in comparison to most electronic HMI ballasts manufactured by Arri, Mole, or K5600... at least for fixtures below 1200W.

hey your right. i wasnt looking close enough when i first eyed these, but after you said that, i took another look , and its pretty obvious. certainly some hijinx at that site goings on.
Hmm - yeah you think that maybe someone might have been smart enough, not only to sell fake crap, but build a "nice" (if you call 10 min. on Frontpage nice) fake website to achieve a barely "official" look - nice! notice the copyright has no name behind it either, and 2000 to give the illusion of 'been-around-a-bit' to shake ya off the trail - give me a break - no contact info, Star-Trek Lights, and no price set...hmmmm I loove the pseudo-ingenuity of the average e-bay scammer, to quote McDonald's "I'm Lovin' it! ...Sorry, I hate those commercials, also, why would I do that to you nice people. :-X
It may be the same guy who runs Photographers Supply station. There are links to his other pages.
If so, he's got a very high approval rating on ebay.
I just bought a couple of 200w fill lights from him and everything was as stated.
Haven't used them yet, but they seem as good or as bad as an inexpensive halogen light can be.
I had a question about the bulbs and he emailed me back right away. Just send him an email with your questions and see what he says.
