Hi,

Has anyone used the Panasonic .8x Wide Angle Lens adapter: AG-LW7208G. I can't seem to find much info on this lens although safer seas says it eliminates the bending of straight lines that most wide angle adapters have is that true?

Thanks,

Mark ???

I used it briefly. It's a nice little lens, fully zoom-through, but not very wide angle. The reason it "eliminates the bending of straight lines" is because it's not wide-angle enough to show barrel distortion. The wider you go, the more barrel distortion you'll see. At only .8x it doesn't go wide enough to really show barrel distortion. But it's also only .8x, so it's a very mild wide-angle.

Thank you so much! Not to be bothersome but do you have any screen captures of some footage in which you used it?

Thanks!
