I'm considering the Merlin for my HVX, anyone using it? My concern is that it's (the camera) too heavy.
Anyone use Steadicam Merlin w/ HVX200?

Merlin will cope with bare HVX200 fine, if you start pimping it out with 35mm adapters, firestores etc, then it will struggle.
Its not that the merlin isn't strong enough for heaveir cameras, its more that you cant ballence bigger cameras on the merlin, its not physically capable of balancing with more weight on it than intended, but a bare HVX is fine.
