Anyone use DIGITAL CINEMA 35MM ADAPTER? $999

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice to offer about this package:


It's from a vendor I found on ebay. They have a letus extreme package for 2400 that includes all the rails and mattebox, follow focus with all gears etc..

They also offer a $999 package (bundle 2) which is linked here:

The 999 deal does include a dof adapter that's a dcg35

I wonder if any of you have heard of these guys or can offer any advice.

p.s. I just bought a jvc gy110hd and am interested in getting a 35DOF but don't really have many thousands to drop on it.
 
Hmmmmm, this 999 deal includes: 1.) the complete rail mount setup 2.) the DOF adapter 3.) a gorgeous mattebox with french flag 4.) the follow focus with all gears 5.) the mount rings to gear onto the follow focus

he says all I would need to provide is the 35mm lens which can be found reasonably cheap.

What might be so bad about this package and/or the adaptor?

I've been doing alot of research and *most* of the sample footage has terribly unuseable shallow DOF and/or dark vignetting on the corners. I want to avoid this.
 
Because they're not an authorized dealer on any of that stuff. That guy used to try and peddle that stuff on here and was banned after people reported him ripping them off. He basically buy from the manufacturers (some of whom are sponsors of this site) and resell them as a profit, disguising the price by offering a "package." Do you really want to give your hard earn money to people like that?
 
Can anyone then recommend where I can get a dependable 35mm adapter, one that avoids vignetting and ridiculous uncontrollably shallow DOF, for the jvc gy110 WITH all the mounting rails, mattebox and follow focus gear for something reasonable, say 1500-2000
